Well folks we’re on day three of the 4th of July series! Are you having fun yet? Today’s table setting that I’m sharing with you is simple and very inexpensive to replicate. It’s perfect for an outdoor get together or party. Most of the items I used can be found at any home store. If you’re anything like me you don’t always have time to plan an elaborate table setting for every holiday or family party. The 4th of July should be a fun, easy-going kind of day. I think this table scape is exactly that!
All the flowers were purchased at Trader Joe’s. If you haven’t been to Trader Joe’s run, don’t walk! Not only do they have great organic food choices but beautiful flowers as well that wont break the bank. I was able to buy three bouquets of flowers for $13! Yes, you read that right… great deal. Pop them into a mason jar with some ribbon to dress them up, you’re good to go.
The smaller American flags can be purchased 3 for $1 at Wal-Mart or Target. The larger ones were bought at Target for $1.50 a piece. The burlap and chalkboard table runner was purchased at Wal-Mart for only $5 and the plastic baskets were only $3 for a pack of four at Target!
I purchased all the cloth napkins from World Market. At $2.99 each and a coupon in hand, they were a steal! Not to mention, I can reuse them at other occasions.
I had the honor of creating this table setting for Ankarsrum Original USA. Their delicious 4th of July burger recipe can be found here. Check out their other yummy recipes on their blog while you’re there.
It’s one of the most simple table setting I’ve done but it’s one of my favorites! There’s something so fun about it. You really feel like you can sit down with family and friends and kick back.
Be sure to catch up on day one and day two of the 4th of July series. The Emile Henry giveaway ends next week, Be sure to enter to win a set of their beautiful ramekins.
I hope all you lovely people have a great weekend and get some rest! I know I could probably sleep the whole thing away. Alas, there’s a full weekend booked. Sleep will have to wait. I get to spend much anticipated time with one of my best friends who’s been in South Korea the last year. She’s back for the summer, which means a lot of girl time! That’s worth lost sleep time, right?
Have an awesome Friday everyone. 🙂
